EVERY DOG NEEDS SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO

Just like us!!! Aren't you happier when you know you have a vacation right around the corner? Yes, I am insinuating that dogs think, and you know what? They do, in their own way. It is an instinctual 'knowing' and believe me your dog knows that they are about to go on a daily adventure! When your dog lays around ALL day long, and all he or she gets is an obligatory walk around the block, I think they lose some of their natural joy and enthusiasm. I really feel after doing this for almost one year (YIKES) that a dogs spirit can be crushed from lack of exercise. I have seen it. It is our duty as pet owners to make sure that they run and play as much as possible. That is my shared thought of the day!

Two and a Half Hours in the Park this morning......

Man were they pooped. Let's see, the police came (a lovely warm lady named Barbara) to warn me that I have been seen with dogs off leash, and to please have them leashed up upon arriving each day. Someone complained, and I am sure it is because Poncho was roaming like a lion yesterday. I was so damn grateful that she was nice, and I promised her that of course I would abide! The dogs were wild, newbie Lulu didn't want to leave, Bea was humping Mojo because Mojo was enjoying Lulu. Max and his new shave were ball obsessed as usual, and Poncho and Simon were like lunatics. What a great way for ALL to start the day! Off to Tallman in the pm, with Henry, Bernie & Jasper, Hudson and Luka. GO DOGDAY AFTERNOON!
